Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ReSellGuard ("we", "us") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what the app needs to work, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
Information we collect
- Listing content you submit. Photos, titles, and descriptions you choose to check are sent to our servers and to an AI processing provider to generate your risk and quality analysis.
- Appeal details you provide. Information you enter about an account flag or suspension, used solely to draft your appeal letter.
- Account information. You can use ReSellGuard anonymously with a random device identifier. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple account identifier and, if you share it, your email address.
- Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Our subscription partner (RevenueCat) receives anonymized purchase receipts to manage your entitlements. We never see your payment details.
- Basic usage and diagnostic data. Crash reports and feature-usage events used to keep the app reliable.
How we use it
- To analyze listings and generate risk verdicts, quality scores, and appeal drafts — the core function of the app.
- To enforce free-tier limits and unlock Pro features you've purchased.
- To sync your history across devices when you sign in.
- To fix bugs and improve the product.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not show third-party advertising or share data with ad networks.
- We do not use your listing photos or text for anything other than producing your analysis.
Third-party services
ReSellGuard relies on a small set of processors to operate: cloud hosting (Railway), an AI analysis provider for listing checks and appeal drafting, Apple (sign-in and payments), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Each receives only the data needed for its function.
Data retention & deletion
Check history and account data are kept while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app's settings or by emailing us — this permanently removes your account and associated history from our systems. Anonymous accounts and their data can be deleted the same way.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at the address below and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
ReSellGuard is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify you in the app.
